Intermediate Skill Development
Technical river running skill development in Class III/IV

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Intermediate Skill Development Course is a 1 day program that builds on the intermediate courses we offer.

GOALS

The focus of this program is very much that of improved technical proficiency in Class III/III+ moving water.  This course has been structured in a way to help people start bridging the often daunting gap of Class III to Class IV.  It is a very drill intensive program, that ties in an element of rapid running and safety.  Our goal is to start having participants read water and use features to help them paddle harder whitewater in control.

OUTCOMES

After completing this course participants can expect to have a number of new concepts and tools to help them paddle more efficiently in increasingly challenging whitewater.  Course instructors will map out a clear progression for paddlers to help them progress.

NOTE: This is a course often taken more than once by many participants. We ensure the course content is varied and focused on each participant. This is a very dynamic course with a huge scope for skill/confidence development.
